Sport is our thing here at Clissold Park Tavern with our huge (heated and covered might I add) garden with more TV screens than ever before. And in 2023 we will be showing all the action from across the board from the FA Cup Final, to the Champs League, from Wimbledon to the Boxing. The first big event this year is the Six Nations, kicking off on the 4th February.

It’s just around the corner now so get your mates together and come on over, we’ll bring the pizza and beer and England will bring it home.

From 20th November we will be hosting the World Cup to beat all World Cups, showing every single game live. Our giant garden tent will be up covering the majority of our huge garden, heaters all round coz, you know, it’s still England yeah, and most importantly, more TV screens than ever before so you won’t miss any of the action.

Reservations will be held for 15min max & may then be given to walk-ins. We cannot hold tables for latecomers under any circumstances.

Your whole group needs to arrive together & you will be seated on a table to fit the amount of people with you.

Latecomers aren’t guaranteed entry so srsly just arrive with your full group!

Bookings require a deposit of £10pp which will be refunded the following day via Design My Night, no shows will forefit their deposit. Your booking is not confirmed until your deposit is paid.

Sports booth reservations require a deposit of £250 which is to be spent in full on the day as a pre-paid bar tab. Any remaining money from your deposit cannot be returned to you. No shows will forefit their deposit. Your booking is not confirmed until your deposit is paid.

Cancellations require at least 72 hours notice for a refund, anything less than that will result in a forfeit of the deposit.

Any changes in number to your booking MUST be communicated at least 72 hours in advance & may require additional deposits to be paid. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate your request.

Walk-in spaces are first come first served.

Under 18s can only be on the premises until 7pm, both inside and out. Children will be expected to be well behaved and remain seated during your visit.

It comes around so fast – the sacred annual event of bombarding you all with the Christmas menu 3 months early 🥰 Christmas bookings of all sizes are open now!

Our festive menu, including our now legendary Christmas pizzas will be available from the 22nd November. One of the biggest heartbreaks of last year was arguably when we had to close a week after launching the menu so we want to give you all as much of an opportunity to have as many meals as you can.

Up for grabs this year includes a butternut squash soup, taleggio and sage arancini, walnut and gorgonzola gnocchi and more. A festive feast to be proud of.

Plus, if you’re looking for a venue for your office/family/friend Christmas party to make up for last year – we’re your guys. Our outdoor party space is perfect for celebrating, it’s covered and heated whilst still being outside and fully ventilated. It can accommodate up to 60 people – be sure to drop us a message for availability and further information!

The pub is back gang, and better than ever. Will you ever take a cheeky pint for granted again?

Bookings for the 12th April and beyond will be open on the 1st March. You can follow us on social media for exact timings, but slots are first come first serve, and we’re expecting to be v busy! If you can’t grab a slot for the date you wanted to come, then we will still have plenty of space for walk-ins, and will also be doing takeaway pints again. Whatever the outcome, you’re guaranteed a good time.

Sandwiched between North and East London, Stoke Newington has long been popular for green spaces like Abney Park Cemetery and Clissold Park, as well as its alternative vibe. The neighbourhood has smartened up considerably in recent years, especially on Church St, where you can find increasingly swanky boutiques, delis and restaurants.

But there are some great budget options too, thanks in part to the area’s Turkish population, who offer excellent and affordable kebabs and lahmacun (Turkish pizzas).
